Papillon 50

The Papillon 50 has been designed to treat cancers using very low energy (penetration) X-Rays.

A unique design of X-Ray generator, The Mironode, is placed in direct contact with the tumour to be treated. This approach spares exposure to normal tissue and allows very high lethal doses of radiation to be delivered to the tumour itself. The machine incorporates several unique features that are the subject of a patent application currently under preparation.

Professor J Papillon pioneered the use of "Contact Therapy" for treatment of early stage rectal cancer using improvised equipment and subsequently several cancer treatment centres throughout the world have published data confirming his treatment results.
